Be strong and courageousMark Twain said, Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear–not absence of fear. When someone tells me they have “no fear” I think “no brain”. Being strong and having courage is about trusting God and moving on. Fear will paralyze. I think FDR said it best, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Be blessed by these verses about being strong and courageous.

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.

2 Timothy 1:7

Down through the centuries in times of trouble and trial God has brought courage to the hearts of those who love Him. The Bible is filled with assurances of God’s help and comfort in every kind of trouble which might cause fears to arise in the human heart. You can look ahead with promise, hope, and joy. -Billy Graham
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.” -Ambrose Redmoon
